1st Day of Sch: Orientation
Well, after such a seemingly short holiday, school reopens while I drag myself to school. Of course, the first thing I must know is how to get to school.
And so I got sited, blah blah blah, this shit that shit, and so on. Well there's this teacher who looks very friendly, but is actually the discipline master. He's quite a humorous person.
Now let's get started.
The first "game" my group play is the "name" game. The guys are supposed to memorize names. I'm the last one in the group, so I must memorize the most names. Oh my god, I could hardly hear them talk coz the place is very noisy. Now I can only remember Thung, Nana, Jasmine, erh.. not too sure lehz. Mostly, the guys only spoke to the guys, while the girls spoke to the girls. I too spoke to only the guys, and nothing much actually, coz I'm supposed to know only their full names and birthdays, which proved to be quite a challenge for a half woken mind. And so the time passed as my group played games like "blow wind blow" and so on.
Then there was the mass dance. I was paired up with Rebecca (Don't know if I have spelled it correctly) from Fairfield Methodist and was told to dance with her. Huh? I don't know how to dance, and now I must start off by dancing with a girl? Alright then, so I learnt. Meanwhile she must have felt very awkward to be holding a guy's hands and dancing. Initially it was difficult, but after a while we slowly picked up and learnt a few beginner steps.
After which there was the cheers introduction, so we screamed, shouted, and so on.
Later came some outdoor games like "Captain Water bomb" and "Floor ball". Haix, lost both matches. But then won a rather unseat game whereby the group was expected to perform breathtaking stuns... ... like placing the face on the starched mat. Unbelievable! Who could have thought of such a game? Keez.. Ya, won a Frisbee game by one point. :)
Finally, the day ended with a "cheer contest" whereby the loudest cheers win, as expected.
As I reached out for my phone, Fiona smsed me.
